What is this?
From the Desk of A.I. Diagiamini is a clearing and settlement system of sorts. Managed by me, a novelist you probably haven’t heard of, this here Substack newsletter is an experimental literary bridge. When I work on a book, everything else fades out of sight, but after returning to the real world there’s an empty feeling that can be a bit upsetting. For me, writing is more than a pastime — it’s both therapy and method in a convenient package.
To fill the empty spaces I just described, I plan to post somewhat regularly about other subjects I care about, like sports or daily life. The coronavirus pandemic will also have its place due to the many changes it has caused for the whole world.
Why should you subscribe?
For starters, you’ll get access to the newsletter and website, as well as the ability to like entries and leave comments. For now all content is free and open to everyone. Plus, it won’t make you fat, and you’ll feel a lot better about yourself and the world — as incredible as it might sound considering our current status as a species.
Get new posts as soon as they’re published
Whether you want to read the posts here or right in your good old inbox, I’ve got you covered.
Will there be paid content in the future?
I’m considering it. After all, Substack enables premium subscriptions for a monthly fee. Perhaps some insider posts about my past and future novels, or something about what motivated me to take the author’s mantle? Anyway, I’m eager to know what you think.
What if I have a proposal to discuss?
Send an email to aidiagiamini at protonmail dot com for all formal inquiries. Be sure to include a subject on your message, your background information to verify whether you’re serious or not, and a brief description of the project/offer/marriage proposal/whatever. Please refrain from including too many and/or heavy attachments — my storage isn’t limitless.
